  In what could most assuredly be called the largest art installation in downtown district, the Institute of Contemporary Art San Francisco announced the completion of the installation of Jeffrey Gibson’s 433-foot-long vinyl mural, “This Burning World.”

  A letter sent to San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie and other officials by a former employee claims that the independence of the city’s Office of Transgender Initiatives is under threat.
• Horizons Foundation President Doughty to step down
  Roger Doughty, a gay man and the longtime president of Horizons Foundation, will retire later this year, the nonprofit has announced.
