3rd annual Bearrison Street Fair

The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and the Bears of San Francisco invite you to the 3rd annual Bearrison Street Fair on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 12-6pm. Bearrison Street Fair is a collaboration between the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Inc., (SPI) and the Bears of San Francisco (BOSF). Sister’s Easter: Back to Our Old Habits!

The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are happy to announce that they are bringing their annual Easter Celebration back to Dolores Park on Sunday, April 17th, after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The 43rd-anniversary celebration kicks off with Children’s Easter from 10 to noon, followed by the main event from noon to 4pm. The theme for this year is “Back to Our Old Habits,” celebrating their return to an in-person Easter party, following all the current CDC guidelines for outdoor events. Hunky Jesus Contest moves online

For 25 years, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence has held an annual Easter celebration that includes an egg hunt for children, an Easter bonnet competition, fabulous drag and non-drag performances, and the annual highlight: a Hunky Jesus and Foxy Mary contest. The event is traditionally held at Dolores Park, but was briefly moved to Golden Gate Park when their home park was being renovated, and at least once was moved to the Eureka Valley Rec & Park Center because of rain. March 13, 2020 5:30 p.m. addendum: The City of San Francisco is now imposing a moratorium on gatherings of greater than one hundred people. Bars and restaurants with a larger capacity will be required to reduce admission and seating. Primary Colors at The Edge

Join San Francisco’s Mardi Gras-inspired fundraising organization, the Krewe de Kinque, for their Primary Colors Party on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at The Edge in the Castro. The event, produced by KDK Member Diana Wheeler, will be raising funds for the KDK’s Bal Masque XVII beneficiary Compton’s Transgender Cultural District, as well as registering voters at the event and outside of the bar.
