The GlamCocks returned from Burning Man 2019 only to have our truck with all our burner gear vanish, never to be seen again. It might as well have been snatched up by a giant twister! Now we’re trying to find our way home again, and we need help from the amazing friends we’ve met along our Yellow Brick Road of adventures. With courage, brains, and lots and lots of heart, we know we’ll make it over that rainbow! So please join us as GlamCocks Present: There’s No Place Like Home.
This GlamCocks theme party has a little twist. Since we don’t have the infrastructure to throw our normal massive parties we are starting with a more intimate “underground” location. We have had such an outpouring of support from our community that we want this event to really focus on connecting with our queer SF community as there is truly No Place Like Home!
Lewks
Everything you need to attend a GlamCocks party has been with you all along. That said, our flying monkeys go bananas for some on-theme lewks! Are you a good witch or a bad witch? Lollipop guild, represent! Lions (and otters, and bears), oh my! Slip-on some ruby slippers or whatever makes you feel fabulous, and join us on the yellow brick dance floor.
Consent
Behave with beauty, connect with intention. We are obsessed with Consent. Always ASK before touching anyone at our events. If someone is violating your boundaries or harassing you, please speak to staff or security. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment. If you feel something, say something, and we will help.
Ticketing Policy
All events are 21+. Valid ID is required for entry. We can only guarantee the validity of your ticket if purchased directly from Eventbrite. Any tickets purchased second-hard or via third-party vendors cannot be validated or accommodated in the event of an issue (fake or duplicate tickets). Be vigilant about ticket scammers; do not send someone money unless the ticket seller can prove they are able to do an official ticket transfer.
Reselling a ticket above face value goes against the spirit of the event – Don’t do it!

Stolen Truck Fundraiser
Just one day after Burning Man 2019, one of our rental trucks was stolen in SF. This truck contained critical parts of our camp infrastructure, our camp signs and decor, and nearly all the personal gear of 30+ SF campmates.
After months of working with law enforcement and the rental company, we are no closer to finding the truck, and sadly nothing has been recovered from this incident. This was really hard on us. Beware of thieves.
But 2020 is our 10 year anniversary! We’re already working on making this burn our best ever. In order for this to happen, we’re raising some funds and asking the gracious BM community for a little camp recovery help so we can bring it on playa in 2020.
